Believe that you Receive
05.25.08 | Comments Off

God has gone to great lengths to purchase us back from Satan and eternal death, and to give us Eternal life. The very least we could do is to take the time to learn how to receive these very great and precious promises.

2 Peter 1:4. by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

These promises were given freely, yet we have a responsibility to learn to receive and walk in them. They just don’t fall on us.

God’s Word tells us without faith it is impossible to please Him.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

So without faith there is no pleasing God, yet on the other side of the coin so to speak, with faith all things are possible.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

Of course this is talking about Godly things. This has got to be our first step, coming to a knowledge and understanding of our inheritance.

Jesus said in the Gospel of Mark…

Mark 11:23-25. or assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Jesus gave us an outline for believing and receiving in this section of Scripture. It would be to our benefit to take note of what He said. His words are the words of life. So let’s look at this Scripture and see the truth being imparted here.

First of all the first thing He said to do was speak to this mountain. We all have mountains in our life that seem insurmountable, Jesus said to speak to them.

You will notice He did not say to believe that you have them. He said to believe that you receive them, then you will have them. You have to receive the promise by faith first. Then you will see the manifestation. Many people believe they have to see a manifestation first in order to have faith, yet this is not what Jesus said. Believe that you receive them, then and only then you will have them. There is a difference in believing that you receive and believing that you have. I believe this is a great stumbling block in the body of Christ and many have fallen short of the promises of God not ever realizing where they missed it.

I know that there is a lot of teaching on the subject of faith in this later day. Some people have gotten into error and out of balance in their teaching, and many have taken things out of context, and gotten out of balance in their belief.
However God’s Word is still true and there are certain spiritual truths we must all know and understand in order to walk the walk of faith. Let’s try and stay in the middle of the road in what we believe and we’ll be ok.

I would like to take a look at the woman with the issue of blood. There is a very important spiritual truth taught here that we can learn from. I use this Scripture quite often because it is such a good example of someone receiving by faith.

Mark 5:25-34. Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment; for she said, If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well. Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, Who touched My clothes? But His disciples said to Him, You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, `Who touched Me? And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.
And He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.

She said If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well. She said out of faith that she would be healed if she touched Him. That was the first thing that she did, she said.

There are 2 parts in everything we receive from God, the part that God plays and the part that we play. God never fails in doing his part, if we do our part we can be sure of an answer and the victory. The Word of God says in the book of Proverbs …

Proverbs 6:2 you are snared by the words of your own mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth.

We need to start declaring out of a heart full of faith that the promises of God are true.
The victory is ours in Christ Jesus.

The second thing that happened was that she acted on what she had already spoken out of her mouth by faith. She actually went and touched the hem of his garment. We don’t have Jesus in the physical sense that this lady had, yet we have His awesome promises to stand on. We can depend on God’s Word to be true and faithful. It is our actions that defeat us or put us over.

After she had acted on what she said, she then received the manifestation of her healing, she felt in her body that she was healed.

It always happens this way. The feeling and the healing follow the coming and the doing. She said it first, she came for it second, then and only then she received and felt in her body that she had been made whole. That is when Jesus said to her … Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction. Jesus did not say His faith, but her faith is what made her well. Since Jesus said it was her faith, not His faith, but her faith that made her whole of her affliction we should take note and understand our part in things.
The last thing that happened is that she told. She came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. She declared it to all there that she was healed, and God was glorified.

Many people would say that this is being presumptuous, and that we don’t have the right to tell God anything. I would say to that, we are not telling God anything He has not already told us in His Word to tell Him. We are to line our words up with His words. We will never succeed if we don’t! We are not giving God orders, He has given us the orders and we are just following His instructions. We are not demanding anything of God, we are demanding of the devil. We are demanding he takes his hands off of God’s property in the name of Jesus according to God’s Word. It would only be presumptuous if we were trying to cajole God into something based off of our own desires or whims not lined up with what He has already said in His Word.
We must do as the woman with the issue of blood has done. Speak it, act on it, believe that you receive it, and tell it.

This is just one example of this type of faith in the Bible. We see many such examples of people receiving from God this way. I would like to encourage you to find the promises of God for your self. Then begin to meditate in them until they become real, and faith arises in your heart. Remember the promises God gave to Joshua …

Joshua 1:7-9. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Put God’s Word first place in your life, and just start acting like what He said is true. Praise God it is, but you will never know unless you … speak it, do it, believe that you receive it, tell it.
Put God to the test and see for yourself that He is faithful and just.

If you want to know for sure that you are a child of God, then I would like to invite you to earnestly pray this prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, “…and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” (Jn.6:37), So I know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in, And I thank you for it. You said in your Word, “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Ro. 10:13).
I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now, You also said, “…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” (Ro.10:9,10).
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because Your Word says, “… with the heart one believes to righteousness…” and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21),
And I am saved! Thank You, Lord!
I can now truthfully say, I see myself as a born again child of God!

Glory to God!!!! Amen.

I was raised Catholic and was born again at the age of 17. I received God’s call into ministry at the age of 19 and began to prepare for ministry. I graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1979. The Lord has called me to teach. Selling Products and Services Online
05.25.08 | Comments Off

The selling of products/services online all require one ESSENTIAL ingredient, TRAFFIC. Marketing a small business online faces greater challenges, such as manpower and budget. However there are some great tools on the market that can effectively improve traffic to your site or affiliate site.

Investing in a good keyword tool is essential for online and offline marketing. A keyword tool can be used to write copy, find niche specific competitive keywords, and to plan advertising. Why you may be asking? A good keyword tool can determine what and why people are searching for in relation to your product. Wordtracker is the choice of the professional marketer. What I liked about this company, is they provide a FREE keyword-guide which will alter how you market on and offline. If your budget is tight they offer membership for 1 day or 1 month. Or you can look at some of the excellent FREE TOOLS on the market.

A popular technique used by many in the affiliate marketing field, is building optimised pages that refer the visitor to the main affiliate site. This technique can be applied to marketing a small business online. There are several software products on the market that will build optimised pages for your main site. Two I particularly like are Traffic Panther and Traffic Hurricane. I personally use Traffic Panther as I found the ease of setting up the software easier with them. They both offer excellent customer support, even to free users. However the Hurricane creates 1000’s of optimised pages for your site, whereas the Panther only creates 25 per project. Bear in mind the engines can drop your site if they think you are spamming.

Both introduce the technology of RSS, but the Traffic Panther introduces the small business to the power of marketing using Blogs. And how they can be beneficial to your business. So whether you are an attorney marketing your services, selling children’s books online, or looking for the secrets of successful network marketing, these techniques can be beneficial to your business online. With these tools you can firtly learn more about your potential customers and then how to get those customers to your sites.

Are you covered with a standard homeowner’s insurance policy?
05.25.08 | Comments Off

With a standard homeowner’s insurance policy in your hand it
includes four important types of coverage. They include:
Coverage for the construction of your home, Coverage for your
private belongings, Liability security, Additional living costs
in the occasion you are for the time being unable to live in
your home because of a fire or other insured disaster.

1.The construction of your house This part of your policy
pays to fix or reconstruct your home if it is damaged or
shattered by fire, hurricane, hail, lightning or other
catastrophe listed in your policy. It will not compensate for
damage caused by a flood, earthquake or routine wear and tear.
When purchasing coverage for the construction of your home, it
is vital to buy enough to reconstruct your home.

Most standard policies also cover structures that are separate
from your home such as a garage, tool shed or porch. Generally,
these structures are covered for about 10% of the total of
insurance you have on the construction of your house. If you
need additional coverage, talk to your insurance agent about
purchasing extra insurance.

2.Your private belongings Your furniture, clothes, sports
equipment and other private stuff are covered if they are stolen
or destroyed by fire, hurricane or other insured catastrophe.
Most companies offer coverage for 50% to 70% of the total of
insurance you have on the construction of your house. So if you
have $100,000 worth of insurance on the construction of your
house, you would have between $50,000 to $70,000 worth of
coverage for your belongings. The most excellent way to
determine if this is enough coverage is to carry out a home
inventory.

This element of your policy includes off-premises coverage. This
means that your stuff are covered anywhere in the world, except
if you have decided against off-premises coverage. Some
companies limit the amount to 10% of the total of insurance you
have for your belongings. You have up to $500 of coverage for
illegal use of your credit cards.

Costly items like jewellery, furs and silverware are covered,
but there are more often than not dollar limits if they are
stolen. Generally, you are covered for between $1,000 to $2,000
for all of your jewellery and furs. To assure these items to
their full worth, purchase an individual property endorsement
and cover the item for its appraised price. Coverage includes
“accidental disappearance,” meaning coverage if you merely lose
that item. And there is no deductible.

3.Liability security Liability covers you against
lawsuits for physical hurt or assets damage that you or family
members cause to other people. It furthermore pays for damage
caused by your pets. So, if your son, daughter or dog
unintentionally ruins your neighbour’s high-priced rug, you are
covered. However, if they demolish your rug, you are not covered.

The liability part of your policy pays for equally the cost of
defending you in court and any court awards, up to the boundary
of your policy. You are also covered not just in your house, but
wherever you are in the world.

Liability limits usually start at about $100,000. Though,
experts advocate that you purchase at least $300,000 worth of
security. Some people feel more secure with even more coverage.
You can buy an umbrella or excess liability policy, they provide
broader coverage; including claims against you for libel and
slander, as well as higher liability limits. In general,
umbrella policies cost about $200 to $350 for $1 million of
extra liability protection.

Your policy furthermore provides no-fault health coverage. In
the event a friend or neighbour is wounded in your home, he or
she can simply send medical bills to your insurance company.
This way, expenses are compensated without a liability claim
being filed against you. You can in general get $1,000 to $5,000
worth of this coverage. It does not, on the other hand, pay the
medical bills for your family or your pet.

4.Additional living costs This pays the added costs of
living away from home if you can’t live there because of damage
from a fire, storm or other insured catastrophe. It covers hotel
bills, restaurant meals and other living costs incurred while
your home is being rebuilt. Coverage for extra living costs
differs from company to company. Many policies offer coverage
for about 20% of the insurance on your home. You can add to this
coverage, but, for an added premium.

Buying Genuine Beanie Babies

Category: Lifestyles

With the popularity of Beanie Babies, there is a problem with
counterfeit or copy beanie babies on the market. Some copies are
easy to spot, but some are getting quite clever in their
attempts to sell less than true quality products. To be sure of
only buying the genuine article make sure that the seller can be
easily contacted and try to ensure that they are a reputable
dealer who shows references on their website and feedback from
other customers.

If you are already a collector then you will probably know what
to look for in a genuine article, but if you are not familiar
with the real thing then it is best to seek advice before buying
so that you avoid the disappointment of falling for a replica.
There are many Beanie Baby shows which are a good place to get
the feel for the fabric and feel of the beanie. It is worth
remembering that replicas are usually imperfect copies in more
than one respect, so there may be several tell-tale signs of
being a counterfeit.

The tags are usually the biggest give away for a replica, try to
learn about the different generation hang tags and tush tags and
the way that the information is printed on them and the wording
that is used.

Chair Yoga Case Study - Increased Energy Levels
05.24.08 | Comments Off
Category: Misc.

After teaching chair yoga for several years Liz Franklin can testify that it appropriate for almost anyone, even if they are feeling the effects of aging or have physical limitations. It is not for hard-bodied 20-somethings that can twist themselves into poses that look impossible - the only prerequisite is that you can sit in a chair, including a wheelchair.

What better way to illustrate how chair yoga has benefited those unable to attend a traditional yoga class than to tell it in their own words?

Hi! I’m Marga Harris. I am 63 years young. I retired from teaching music after 30 years. I live in Kansas City, MO. I started taking classes with Liz in September of 2004. My doctor, Jane Murray gave me a brochure. There was an excellent description of the program in the brochure, so I decided to give it a try. I thought that stretching and a less strenuous form of exercise would be good for me. I have Post Polio Syndrome and many exercise programs just don’t work for me. I use crutches to walk. Although I am fairly mobile, a slower paced class is just right for me.

I keep coming back because of the teacher and the other students in the class. They are a fun group. Also, I enjoy the benefits of increased flexibility and strength. My breathing has improved dramatically. I am more comfortable in my own body, especially in terms of stretching, reaching and balance. I feel that the class has helped open the energy channels in my body.

If I had just one piece of advice to give someone who is thinking about joining a chair yoga class it would be “Just do it!” You’ll never know what the multiple benefits will be until you do it. It is a warm and inviting environment to be in. Everybody’s level of ability is honored. You are not pushed to move beyond your personal comfort level at any time.

This is an activity that gives you energy rather than sucking energy from your body and mind. This is an excellent program for people with disabilities. It would be encouraged by any knowledgeable physical therapist.

Selling Local Services on the Web
05.23.08 | Comments Off

Do you have a product that you can sell online to your local market?

If you are already in business and you are thinking of promoting your products or services online, one of the first questions you have to ask yourself is “Do I have a product I can sell online?” Or perhaps in your case the question should be, “Can I sell my current product line online? These questions are at the very heart of the decision whether or not to try online marketing.

Most of the problems with products are the result of delivery issues. Either your product must be delivered within a narrow time frame (like pizzas and fried chicken), or it is too fragile or too large to be economically delivered, or there is not enough profit margin built into your pricing to allow for delivery. Most local businesses address these issues by a combination of strategies. Either they do not provide delivery, or they charge for it, or they will deliver only within a narrowly defined geographic area.

This question will take different forms for different products and services. If your business is selling specialty household items like custom made candles, the chances of modifying your current sales approach to reach a broader online market are pretty good. But if you sell a service like pool cleaning or home renovations, your online objectives will probably be different. Unless you are prepared to travel hundreds of miles to perform your services, you are probably only interested in reaching local prospects.

Are some products suitable for marketing online and others not?

Think of all the plumbers, home renovators, auto refinishers, pool cleaners, landscape suppliers and so on in your community and ask yourself if it is feasible to market these kinds of products and services online.
For instance, say you sell landscape products such as paving stones, top soil, crushed stone and so on. And say you already have an established business in your local area. Your geographic market area is roughly the area you can reach with your trucks in less than, say, 30 minutes. In other words, your target market area is any place within about 25 miles of your shipping depot. Dealing with customers beyond this radius becomes to expensive because of the shipping costs.

Would it be worth marketing your landscape products online specifically to this narrowly defined target market area?
Well, it depends. Obviously if your marketing efforts were free there would be no question. You should just go ahead and do it. But your marketing efforts will not be free. To do effective online promotion you will have to create a website, create some sort of online marketing program, and then have the response system in place to answer customer enquiries and take online orders. None of this is free. Most of the costs will be in designing and creating the website. But there will be ongoing costs for regular marketing efforts and online advertising.

Regular marketing efforts? Online advertising? Absolutely! It is important to realize that you will be wasting your money if you just set up a website and expect customers to flock to it. It just won’t happen. You need an ongoing marketing effort that includes, as a bare minimum, Search Engine Marketing and probably Pay Per Click Advertising.

Thinking about other products in this way will very likely lead to the same conclusion. Say you are a chiropractor and you are wondering about promoting your service online. Is it worth the effort? Probably not in the short term. You will probably not gain instant recognition or instant clients. But a concerted, sustained effort over a long period of time will help you create a web presence in your community and establish you as one of the leaders in your area. And that will result in sustained and lasting results which should eventually translate into sales.

Virtually any product can be marketed online to a local market if you are prepared to put in the time, effort and expense necessary to make an impact. You may be able to get relatively fast results with some products. But generally speaking because you are dealing with a confined geographic area the number of prospective customers looking for your product at any given time will be relatively small. So the response will usually be slow in coming.

But if you are planning to be around for the long haul, persistent online marketing efforts will eventually pay off. And the best time to get started is right now.

A Few Words about Writing and Perfection
05.23.08 | Comments Off

Recently I watched my 16-year-old son practicing martial arts. I stood amazed, as with steady composure he navigated a long series of complex movements in one fluid dance. Why amazed? Probably for the same reason I was stunned to behold the arc of his head just moments after his birth. Because perfection–real perfection, not the gnarly kind that nags you until you get it right, but the pure-flowing kind–always comes as a delightful surprise. Why can’t we make perfection happen when we want it to? Because it’s the very serendipitousness, the unexpected nature, of the gracefulness of human movement or of the appearance (once again! imagine!) of a brand new human being, that makes us say “How wonderful! That’s perfection.” If we could predict it, it wouldn’t be perfect. By allowing ourselves to be surprised–in the act of writing, or anywhere else in life–we open to the miraculous. Only the miraculous is truly perfect, those moments of beauty and truth we know we couldn’t have created on our own.

Yet if we’re ever to touch perfection-in our writing, and martial arts, or within the silent heartwe instinctively know we must give over our desire to “do it well,” give in to the temptation to speak as openly and baldly as we can about whatever matters most to us. Otherwise the Inner Critic will take hold of our words and mash them to a pulp before their beauty or greatness has a chance to emerge.

The tough truth we must face: We can’t want to write well and write anything great. We must write with abandon, with an intention to discover what is best in us and in life. And we must show up. As we do, day by day, keep living and writing by the light of our true intention, we may glimpse perfection.

Seeing the miraculous emerging from our very own words, we’ll be as amazed as anyone else! When we see it, we won’t dare say, “How brilliant I am!” We’ll feel the tenuous beauty of that creation. We’ll treat it like a just-born infant. We will cradle it in our hands with unimaginable tenderness and say only, “Thank you.”

Falling Hair? Cure It With Simple Scalp Exercise
05.23.08 | Comments Off
Category: Uncategorized

A receding hairline is the most obvious sign of aging, being on the most prominent location. It is like falling leaves when autumn comes. That’s why most of the middle and advanced aged people suffer from thinning hair. And, to their constant chagrin, most male suffer from this misfortune.

Caring for your hair doesn’t stop with washing and shampooing it. You have to pay equal attention to it in the same manner as you pay to other parts of your body. The hair needs nourishment just like the rest of your system to keep them in place and keep them from moving to your bathroom shower drain.

In your campaign for a healthier body most of the time the hair is not included. You work out every inch of your body, but not the hair. There are no exercises for it anyway, you might think. But decades ago, Sanford Bennett, became a celebrity for experiments that led to his physical rejuvenation at 70. Besides all the exercises he devised to make his face younger and his bodily muscles more robust, he also devised an exercise for a healthier and stronger scalp that could trigger the thicker growth of the hair.

To Bennett, the scalp, just like any other part of the body if exercised, would increase in strength and elasticity. This is because there are microscopic glands and muscles in the scalp. The law that applies in exercising the major muscles of the body also applies to those.

So how does it go? Alternately pull your hair in all directions and massage the scalp with the pads of your fingers while you lie in bed. This will improve the blood circulation and eventually feed the roots of the hair with the nutrients it needed. It also exercises the muscles in the scalp making the muscles stronger, which will logically hold the hair more strongly. And since the blood is pumped through the microscopic glands and muscles in the scalp, they are sure to increase in size, strength and elasticity. This naturally results in much fewer hair falling and healthier-looking hair.

One of the best refreshers for the hair ad the scalp is the alternate washing of hot and cold water. It also accelerates the blood circulation there. Wash the hair first with hot water, as hot as you can bear it. Then follow up with very cold water (but without using ice). Applying hot and cold towels alternately can be a good substitute. This procedure should be repeated at least five or six times.

The writer, Ismael D. Tabije, is the editor of the book, “The Man Who Grew Younger: Secrets to Fitness and Beauty for the Middle Aged and Beyond”, which can be accessed at www.growyounger.e-mart4all.com. Resale Rights - Creating Perceived Value
05.22.08 | Comments Off

Regardless of whatever it is you are selling, you have to create what is called perceived value. In other words, if somebody sees your resale rights package, after reading the description they have to walk away from their reading saying to themselves, “This is something that I believe will be very valuable to have.” So, how do we do that?

There are a few ways to create perceived value. One way is to load up your package with a number of extras at no cost. This is not to suggest that you give the customer a ton of useless junk. People will see through this in a heartbeat. You want to give them things that will compliment the main part of the package.

For example. Let’s say you are giving somebody simple resale rights to an ebook on how to make money online. This book teaches people the basic steps of creating their own web site, how to promote it, how to build a subscriber base and so on. What you may want to do is give them a few things in addition to the book itself that will help them accomplish these tasks. You might want to consider throwing in a book on effective ad writing so people can learn how to write good ads. Maybe include a book on web site design for the person who doesn’t know anything about HTML for creating his own site. This would be something that he would normally have to pay for elsewhere and now you are giving it to him for nothing. If you throw in enough of these items the potential customer is likely to feel that he is getting more than his money’s worth and will be more likely to purchase your package. Many of today’s sites have as many as 5 or 6 of these add on products.

Another thing you can do to create perceived value is through real testimonials. Obviously if the product is new you’re not going to have any testimonials. That is an easy problem to solve. Simply contact a few people and tell them you are giving them your product to test, free of charge. All you ask in return is that if they like the way it performed that they submit a testimonial to use on your sales page. Most people will jump at the chance to try out a new product. Once the testimonials start coming in, you can put them up on your site. When people see these they are more likely to believe the product is legit and valuable.

But the most important thing to creating perceived value, believe it or not, is the actual look of the product itself, especially with ebooks. It has been tested and proven that a 3D shot of your ebook cover, suggesting that it is a real book and not just a PDF file, makes people feel it has more value because they believe that a real hard copy of this book exists. There are a number of software programs out there that can create these covers, many that are very inexpensive.

Just these three simple things can add more perceived value to your product than anything you can do with the actual product itself. Try it. You won’t be sorry.

Computer Network Installation

Category: Technology

Computer network installation can be daunting but with a few guidelines you can install a good network at your home or office. Networking allows computers to share peripherals, and allows one computer to backup the data of another. Also networks can enable a single computer to act as an Internet access point for the entire network without the inconvenience of fitting a modem and telephone extension for each computer.

Planning
This involves defining business requirements and growth plans to build a framework for connecting computers and other equipment in the organization. Good network planning eases the process of a suitable network installation. Here users need to consider usage requirements and assess who will manage the network. Usage, maintenance, expansion and security issues also need consideration.

Hardware requirements
Once the planning has been done, the next stage involves understanding what hardware will be required and what hardware your network will support. These can include back-up devices, uninterruptible power supplies, network printers, etc. Once this is determined you need to understand how many network points will be required. Hubs and switches should have sufficient ports for the various connections. Also there should be enough scope for growth and expansion in the future.

Network design
Here various aspects like the kind of topology, network operating system, the right network interface cards and cabling needs to be considered. If the network is small, a basic topology like ring, bus, mesh or star may be used. But if the network is complex, a hybrid of two or more technologies may need to be implemented. The location of the network cables, various devices, hubs, switches, servers, printers, firewalls, routers and modems needs consideration. Building or leasing regulations that may affect the cabling also need to be kept in mind. Security issues, both within the organization and on the Internet also need consideration.

Support services
Here you need to consider resources like consultants, support staff, other in-house staff and where they are located. You will need to consider the staff for management, security, maintenance and training. Employees will require to adopt new habits while using the network and sufficient training needs to be provided in this regard.

Networks can help people share information, efficiently access the Internet, and work collaboratively. As networks become necessary, it is important to know which technologies will work for your organization.
